Ring of Fire or: I'm Ready for a JCash Challengeby jimboneComment: I agree! We have had lots of rock song challenges, and it is time for some country music. With the number of country songs that mention Fort Worth and Dallas, it would be a freestudy for me!
Not totally sure if this displays camera movement or not. Perhaps pretty subtle motion around the flames? |

Swallowby liangdaweiComment: I don't see an evidence of camera movement. Either you missed the idea entirely, or it meets the topic in some subtle way that didn't even rustle my hair on the way overhead. |

Anodder Beer Peasby ZellerStudioComment: I was going to hit the 4 key and toss this off as just a shaky snapshot rather than intentional blur. Then I read the title and it all worked. I must disagree with the anti-title crowd. Sometimes the title makes all the difference in how a scene is perceived. |

The Joustby boyd2000Comment: I'm afraid this comes off to me as more like an accidental shaky snapshot than intentional motion. |

Christian Joyby SpongetoastComment: Comes off as an average snapshot, taken with harsh on-camera flash, I'm afraid. A couple of things that could possibly help:
-Frame the image to avoid the clutter in the background, especially the wires under the table.
-Find some way of diffusing or bouncing your flash. Of course, I don't know what camera you have to work with, but any pop up flash can be diffused or bounced. (An index card taped in front of a pop up, and angled upward works nicely.) |

autumnby kolasiComment: Nice strong colors, but it ends up coming off to me as more of a shaky snapshot than an intentional effect. Sorry. |

Childhood Nightmaresby pedrobopComment: As it stands, I think it comes across as an interesting snapshot. Color cast is a bit strong in the yellows. Would probably place in the 4's or low 5's in a challenge. I would suggest playing around with some treatments, maybe a b/w look would do well for it.
Added: Forgot to mention that you have the dubious honor of receiving my 10,000th comment.
