My best guess is that this is glitter floating around in a water globe. I see lots of jaggy artifacts around the edges. Not sure if that is a result of the way the light is playing off of them, or if it is post-processing related. Could be an extreme crop.

I gave this a 5 because I liked the image, but could not see any connection to the challenge. I didn't think it was a blatant shoehorn, however. It was clear that you had seen some connection. Reminds me of one of my own entries, both in the subject and the fact that you saw a story in it which did not carry across to the viewer. Mine also came in on the low end of the scale.
