LAST PLACE???? .... out of 444???
Unbelievable.......
I think it is time to take my ball and bat and go home.... |
Hey, I DID acknowledge the great look you captured. I have a brown ribbon entry that was clean, sharp and reasonably well lit, so don't worry too much about it. The brown ribbon is a special club that some members will never belong to.
Please leave the ball and bat, I want to hit a few now that I've gotten to the end of the challenge. |

Calm before the Stormby robm001Comment: I gave this a 9 and upon second look bumped it to a 10 because it deserved some extra kudos. I'm disappointed that it did not come in over a 6. It really deserved it, but we know broad appeal is fickle and unpredictable for most of us. Still, a high 5 in such a challenge is an accomplishement. Hope I can do photos of people this well someday. |

A View from the Bridgeby banmornComment: I'm pleased to find my own entry sitting next to this in the rankings, though I do think it was underrated. |

Street Photographyby MelethiaComment: I figured a good chance that a shot obviously located in Frankfurt was yours. I still have an 80's map of Frankfurt on my bookshelf. I'm interested in finding out if this is where I think it is. Of course, after 28 years, I may not be able to find the exact location I am thinking of.
Placed pretty darn well for the yearly super-freestudy. |

Wonderby APComment: Nice one! It got a 9 from me. Good to see others were in agreement on this one. I didn't expect it was yours, however. |

Navajo Spirit Risingby Ja-9Comment: I figured one of the antelope canyon shots was yours. Congrats, you've achieved the elusive and mythical 7+! |

Street Photographyby MelethiaComment: The location brings me a sense of deja vu. This may be the place in Frankfurt where I remember seeing a woman with 2 awfully cute kids singing "Rockin' Robin" in German. (Quite memorable!) That was in the early 80's however, and could be a different part of the city. Is there a Bahnhof under the surface here? |

Abandonedby mBastinComment: Don't get too close, my own favorite leaning house fell down recently. |

A Long Traditionby wei1108Comment: Some stronger colors could give it a little more "DPC friendliness", but this is an outstanding street portrait, nonetheless. |
