Nice b/w tones. Strikes me as almost looking like a photo out of magazine ad from the 50's or 60's. (Like for a skin lotion, perhaps.) Perhaps a touch strong on the tone mapping, the skin patterns on the fleshy part of the person's palm wants to draw my eye away from the flower. Got a vote on the positive side of the scale from me.

A good and sweet image that any parent can identify with. The softness certainly suits the subject. I gave this a vote on the positive side of the scale, as it is a well done image. At the same time, however, it did not grab my attention or emotions in a way that made me put it high on the list. Perhaps a bit too soft, but I'm not totally sure.

I like this. The dancer looks slightly out of place on the street, yet comfortable in the environment. Could be a pawdrix entry. If not, then please take that as a compliment.

I like the soft tones, the ripples in the coffee, and also the soft vignette that frames the subject. It just comes together nicely. Very well done.

The Hand

I'm afraid I'm having to give this one a lowball vote, but I won't do it without an explanation. The two biggest issues for me are that it's somewhat out of focus, and the pattern of the cloth detracts from the main subject. Aside from that, it's just a plain photo of a hand, and there's just not much to grab my attention.
