The Cloistersby salmiakkiComment: Effective use of HDR/tonemapping. It's obviously there, but not overdone in any way. |

Apparition of Designated Improvementby bspurgeonComment: I'm curious what your title is referring to. I'm guessing it is in reference to those rubber thingies covering the pylons. Perhaps they are supposed to prevent the barnacles that I see on several of them? |

Old is Goldby davisambroseComment: I've seen those criss cross artifacts in a challenge before and did not know what caused them. I do now, as I saw it on my own computer recently. This is the result of doing a screen grab from the preview window of an HDR/tonemapping app. Probably Photomatix. Probably best to find some other way of achieving the look you want. They make a lite version of the app that is affordable, and there used to be a freeware version of lesser functionality that you can probably find if you ask around. |

Sharing the Roadby BradComment: Nice to see your city provides bike lanes on the main road. Guessing this could be Austin, a city known for being bicycle friendly. |

Simplicity within a world of forced complexityby libertyComment: Interesting entry. The grainy banding in the background would normally be a fatal flaw, but you've used it in such a way as it becomes an attractive feature of this shot. One of my highest votes in this challenge so far and a fave. |

Upper Falls, Provo Canyonby beekeeperComment: Too much compression is killing a lot of the fine detail in this. I can see grainy artifacts around a lot of edges in the rocks and logs. Normally a filesize of 174k would not show effects of compression, but this shot has so much fine detail in it, that it needs to use less compression and the entire 300k allowed. |

Now Grog is done laughing. Grog is great understander-of- tecnall tecknowlogie teknollogee magic things. Grog will help. Problem boy has is that banana is not audio device. Eat banana instead. Will make youngling strong, for hunting and fighting. Must use seashell or coconut shell instead. Now will work and can hear things.
You thank grog for advice, tell Ooga stop slapping Grog in head. Ooga enjoys too much. |

L2Llamaby L2Comment: I had originally wanted to keep most of the tree, but I think this crop works much better. Nice work on the blur. |
