Spiffy-channels-Rozby CoryComment: Not by a long shot. I got some clear pics, but nothing to wow about. I guess we don't have robber flies where I live, because it was the first time I'd seen one. Big suckers. |

Oh, heck I finally learned how to spell Albuquerque, and now I mess this one up. |

The artby CoryComment: Reading over the comments on this helps me understand why one of my current entries is doing "just ok" and not as well as I had hoped. |

The Warriors Enterby DrAchooComment: I had thought this was yours because of the can't-miss-it location printed in a "prominent place". That, and you were posting in the score thread that it was under a 5 at one point. Sports photography is not usually a mass appeal genre, but of all people on this site, you know what sells. I gave it a 7, however. I also gave the other cheerleader shot in this challenge an 8. Both are very good captures of a moment. I really like the use of blur to add to the action, even if it was merely a fortunate accident. Message edited by author 2010-10-15 09:10:07. |

Legendsby Luci11eComment: You got robbed at gunpoint! I think it is a great capture of one detail of this ceremony. I gave this a 7. Guessing at why so many rated it low, I would think perhaps the person's face being slightly turned away hurt it some, and it could probably do with a little pop and dimension. A mild amount of Topaz or PSP's clarify would do it. (I don't recall what you edit with). Hope that helps some. Now I will go read the other comments and see if they are in agreement with what I just said.
