avoiding Verizonby tvsometimeComment: Might have worked a little better for me if the top of his head wasn't cut off by the frame. |

zapped by tangueraComment: A rare 10. Love it! Though I'm not sure if that is Doc Brown hair or Bernie Sanders style. Probably Doc B, since he plays with powerful energy sources. Toned color works well for this. I'd be interested in knowing how you did these colors once the challenge is over.
Added: My expectation for the blue. My own entry may stand an outside chance of an HM. |

MoeHairby WildpurpleComment: I have a strong suspicion whose entry this is and I know you have requested feedback, so here are a handful of things I noticed:
-The image is pretty flat looking. Not a lot of variations in tonal range. A levels adjustment would take care of a lot of that, giving the image more detail and visual pop.
-What look like creases in the background image are pulling my eye away from the adorable doggo.
-That pink background may have also affected the auto white balance for the main subject, which isn't terrible, but looks a little off. A fix for that going forward could be to shoot in RAW. It requires more work in post processing, but offers a lot of control over both white balance and to pull in detail from clipped highlights and shadows that would be lost in a JPG.
-The crop is a little tight, especially at the bottom. It leads my eye through the image in an odd way. Perhaps having a bit more room at the bottom under the dog's chin would help that.
Sorry to be so harsh, but if this is from whom I think, I know you wanted feedback. |

Camouflageby GeorgesBogaertComment: I guess in an urban environment, magenta WOULD be camouflaged! I'm sure you were referring to the green hair, but my eye landed on the chick on the back. |

Hairline Cursorby GeneralEComment: A very unique interpretation of the topic, with hair used as a descriptor rather than literally. Borderline shoehorn, but I've done my fair share of those myself. Extra pointage for outside the box thinking.
One minor criticism is that this seems a bit flat. Just not a lot of what I think of as "pop" to the image. Out of curiosity, I did a screen grab and tried a levels adjust on it. I found that the dynamic range was good, stretching all the way from dark to light, but no tones were significantly higher than anything else, which I think is accounting for that appearance. |

Peek-a-boo (P3300057)by ladpupmoeComment: This gives off a great creepy vibe to me. Based on the title, I don't think that was the intention, but it does that for me. |
