Not sure if they are old ways or not. They are actually very popular again these days. What goes around comes around. It's a very good shot though, and the turquoise color is VERY '60s. I like the casually angled feet.

Had to look at this for a few moments to figure out what the view was and how it relates to the theme. I think it is the hand shredding that is the old way? May have worked better if the potatoes in the foreground did not have so much motion blur. Good out of the box thinking, though.

I like the details of the straw showing. Good job on the lighting, but the photo as a whole does not grab my interest and seems too centered up.

Not sure if I care for the composition all the way to the side like that, but the image itself is sure fun, with very punchy colors. (I think "punchy" is my new favorite commenting term!)

Where did all that snow come from? I don't see any on the ground.

Your file size is only 53k when you could have used up to 150k. This indicates a lot of JPEG compression, which is one of the image quality issues going on here. Check the JPEG compression settings in your image editor and always try to save as close to the limit for a challenge as you can get it without going over.

Also looks like there is a lot of high ISO noise visible in all areas of the photo.
