Armitronby bruskiComment: Nicely done photo. Definitely one that I can see in a magazine ad. I alway thought that "Armitron" was a slightly weird brand name. You wear it on your arm, so they call it that, I suppose it makes sense. |

Life, Liberty and the Pursuit (of a good photo)by cstein96Comment: The bumpers are slightly clipped by the edge of the frame, so it seems a touch awkward. The background is a little bright and distracting from the car itself. I like the perspective view, the b/w tones and contrast on the car are done well. |

S***ide Redby tonyvComment: I assume this is an actual trademarked product and that is why you've covered it up in the image and title? Well done. Only minor issue is some iso noise visible mostly in the background, but also on the lipstick. Composition is good and lighting is great. |

T I M E P R O O Fby nikuserComment: A bit on the dark side. Though this is good, I don't think it stands out like it should for such a subject. |

Alessiby spencerwoodComment: Not sure exactly what this is (An egg cup?), but it looks cool and does make me want to go out and buy one. |

Fairy Dustby JuliBocComment: I didn't vote on this one, but I would have probably given it a 5. The composition is pretty good. I think the main issue is the clarity of the image as a whole, and a bit of graininess. The 1/20 second exposure may have had something to do with that. Were you using a tripod? If it was handheld, then I admire your ability to hold a camera steady at that shutter speed. I would have probably bumped up the colors a touch to bring out the rosy cheeks, sparkly eyes and the bokeh in the back.
I think to some extent it was a little out of season right now and some voters may have viewed it as a photo of someone else's piece of art. |

Water Dancerby AliciaComment: I think the extreme brightness in the upper half of the frame is what held this back a little. I woudl have also cropped it a bit differently, placing the bird a bit more to the right. I do like the reflection of the bird in the wet sand and darkening the image would also bring that out a little more. |

Cardinal by jmritzComment: I don't think out of focus or dpeth of field was really the problem. Though his eye is nice and sharp, the beak looks like there was some motion blur going on. I the beak were as clear as the area behind it, I don't think the rest of it would have been as big a problem, but my eye is drawn to the blurry beak. |

The Winter Sundialby HipychikComment: Nice enhancement to the look of those clouds. You came within spitting distance of a 6 on this one!
Biggest issue I can see that may have held it back is the hulls of the boats blend in with the beach colors too much, so the eye does wanders between the boats and the scene out in the water behind them. |
