A good sentiment. Colors and contrast could be a bit stronger and cropping to put the flag a little more off center would have improved the composition. Your JPEG compression settings are a little too heavy as well. I can see artifacts around a lot of the edges. Your file size is only 46k and you could have used up to a 150k file size for this challenge, which would have eliminated those visible artifacts.

Are these worms or larvae of some kind? I think it's supposed to appear similar to a Yin-Yang... maybe. The image itself is a bit grainy, but the colors and detail are good. This one really made me stop and examine it. Hope you have some details in your notes box for me to see after the challenge.

It's a great image, but JPEG compression hurts it. Serious artifacts are clearly visible around the birds and clouds. No doubt other areas of your image have lost detail due to compression. Check your JPEG compression settings in your image editor. Your file size is only 27k and you could have used up to 150k for your entry.

I don't normally think of a predator like an eagle as peaceful, but this does look peaceful and the eagle is often a symbol of the defense of peace...

I don't understand what sleepers refers to. I'm just not familiar with that term in the context you are using it. It's a very nice image, though great colors, detail and it leads my eye quite nicely where is needs to go.

Interesting idea and the implementation is ok, but not great. DOF, lighting and contrast could've be a bit better and would have brought out some of the great texture of the tape.

Can't get anything that represents peace more than a dove! Nice comp, some more contrast would work, but that's going to be tough with white on white and basic editing rules.

I like the detail on the head, with the water drops, but I'm afraid the remainder of the shot is not appealing for me. Blown out highlights and the comp is not really drawing me in. Perhaps a closer crop on the head may have worked and shown off all the details.
