EVENescenceby thewhiteafricanoComment: If I were handing out a shoehorn award, I think this entry would get it. I admire the chutzpah to put that twist on it. I like the bokeh, though the light on this is pretty hard. |

Even, althougth it's oddby hajekaComment: What's the yellow blob on the left half? Butter? These must be muffins then. To be honest, I thought they were meatballs, but meatballs would not be buttered. At least not where I live. |

Twin Daffodilsby kayt300994Comment: Well exposed and good detail, however, it looks like it was taken in harsh midday sun. Some softer side light earlier or later in the day may have been more pleasing. |

Blue hueby SpeedtownComment: Way small and excessive JPEG compression. I expect this is an effort for a brownie. If not, you have my apologies. |

10 Evenby cyclingtmbComment: I'm not caring for this, I'm afraid. It's a good idea, I like the variation in the columns, but it seems a bit busy in the background, which draws my eye away from those great colums, and there is some visible skew on the left. I wonder how this may have been taken form the courtyard on the other side. |

P?NPby taseComment: I'm afraid the title does not mean much to me. Sounds mathematics related. Kind of interesting, though. |

Double Beautyby maggiedddComment: It's an interesting composition, though it looks a little odd to me. The reflection is not very intense and is easy to overlook. I can see this making a good stock image, because of the large, mostly empty space at the bottom. Would make a nice business card or invitation. |

Belleby EstimatedEyesComment: I have to agree with Ben. I voted this challenge, but since I only did my 20% w/ comments, yours did not come up for me.
I love the colors and there is an incredible amount of detail on the figurines face. Nice work with the light and spot-on focus. My only critiques are the flower that you mentioned yourself, and the same issue with the back of her hair being cut off.
Looking at your voting breakdown, this appears to be one of those shots that was liked by some and disliked by others. I see nearly the same count for 6's and 4's. If you had not gotten that wad of 3's, it would have done much better in voting. |

Old Phonograph Needle by JeniYComment: One of those shots that amazes me with the incredible amount of detail that can sometimes be fit into 720 pixels. Message edited by author 2008-04-28 09:11:32. |
