Rickenbacker 360/12C63by LN13Comment: Too bad DOF is so shallow at such an angle and closeness. Still a great shot, with wonderful clarity and colors. |

out of the pastby strikealiteComment: I can see the early color look you were trying to achieve. I'm not sure you totally nailed it, but a good effort. The biggest problem spots are the washed out area around the rear horses head and the modern homes in the background. (Not unlike a shot I entered a few months back, of a princess with an office building behind her!) |

Focusedby lynnesiteComment: Yes, it is focused quite nicely on that beautiful horse. A nice strong image. |

Reflective Buddhaby codfishComment: Nice, except for the shadow cast below the statue's neck. If the whole thing were in sun, it would have worked a bit better. |

Heavenwardby ryandComment: Colors could probably use a little boost. That would give this some more visual impact to go along with the steep viewing perspective. |

$500 rewardby CitadelComment: Not sure what the message is in this shot. Perhaps the disregard for authority is the point? |

The sun in the skyby ThaiComment: This seems very soft and grainy. I think most of it is due to the use of excessive JPEG compression. Your file size of only 87k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what is robbing most of the detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (200k for this one) |
