The Touristby JammurComment: I think the only thing that "went wrong" with this one is no wow-factor, which is a must to score highly on this site. It's a great illustration of this camera, and would be wonderful in a book or on a web site discussing it. If you look at the voting breakdown, you will see it got a fair amount of 6's through 8's. A lot of people liked this one.
It's important to interpret and read an entries performance performance beyond the average score. It did not come up for me in voting, or I would tell you what I gave it. Remember a mediocre score on DPC is a darn good photo anywhere else. |

Speed Racerby GelertComment: I love hot wheels. I just bought my grandkids a set of the orange hot wheels tracks and some cars for them. It's quickly become on of their favorite toys when they are visiting. |

On Golden Pondby omikeoComment: Very washed out. It's tough to shoot into the sun. If you were using automatic settings, cameras have a hard time with such shots. Some color adjustments in software could have probably helped it some. |

Tears of the Sunby taylorpageComment: Nice the way the sunset reflect off the ripples. I'm not finding the comp leads my eye well, however. |

Cold Mountainby cabaComment: What an interesting looking cloud. Is that common over mountains? Perhaps a little more contrast would be good, though that may have killed some detail. |

The blair witch project!by vtrpinaComment: Is her name Blair?
A fair amount of jaggies visible here. You may need to experiment with some resizing methods that can result in a smoother final appearance. |
