No vote, but a comment. I like the comp, though the colors/contrast and maybe the sharpness need to probably come up a hair more. The carving knife is a nice, threatening touch. There's a bit of a seam showing in the background. If this were advanced editing you could clone it out, but under basic rules, you just need to watch out for such things.

Nice effort and good idea, unfortunately, the detail is taken away by a lot of high ISO noise. With something like this, which does not move, you can use a low ISO and as long a shutter speed as needed to get around that.
