Baby Bluesby dtremainComment: A good basic shot. Well lit, great color and sharpness. Did anyone yet mention the stray thread on the neck? Yea, I knew I wasn't the first to notice it, but that's the only flaw I can see. |

Makena's Babyby DrPhotoComment: Very dreamy looking. You could have used this one in the catalog photo challenge as well. |

Cleavage Barbie does bokeh!by snafflesComment: A bit of high ISO noise on Barb and her cleavage. Just a little noise reduction could smooth that out. I think the composition is a bit off, the one in focus seems squeezed too far over in the frame. |

Wanna play?by StarbananaComment: Other than the white balance being way off (Too yellowy. Try using the incandescent or fluorescent setting under these conditions), this is a nice clear close up of this action figure. Good composition and use of the shallow DOF, it leads my eye right to an interesting subject. |

Precious Momentsby prestomationComment: Some may not consider porcelain figurines to be dolls, however, I'm being flexible on my definition for this challenge. A good enough shot, but it's just not grabbing my attention in any way. |

Just hangingby jpdoomComment: I'm afraid this entry has a lot of problems. The two major ones are:
a) Colors are very washed out looking. I copied and pasted this into PaintShop Pro out of curiosity, and a quick levels adjustment improved that problem in a big way.
b) Focus is on the grating and not on the doll. Refocusing, or using a narrower aperture to gain greater Depth Of Field would have helped there. There is nothing that can help that after the fact, however. |

The Power Of Reality...by SirashleyComment: I like the concept but the execution is a little short, I'm afraid. Seems really fuzzy and blown out. Lacking in detail. I can't tell if it's because of your original shot, or if you over enhanced it. I wouldn't mind seeing the out of the camera shot after the challenge. |
