Trainby KaeComment: This is fun. You can tell these kids were hamming it up for the camera. My grandson makes a "tough guy" face whenever the camera comes out. |

the hard work of vintageby chimaeraComment: Grapes? At first glance I thought it was dung. But that made no sense. Vintage dung? Nahhh. Photography-wise, I'm afraid I find this to be a good snapshot, though some adjustments could probably improve this. It's got good basic material here. |

Teleworker Home Officeby dstarwaltComment: Hmmm. This is interesting because, well, it's similar to my own entry, so I certainly can't critique the choice of subject any. I don't think you had very good lighting to work with here, however. There's a distracting object in the foreground as well. I think it's the tip of a chair. |

Labor disgraces no manby JakerComment: A wonderful entry and the title is fantastic! I think the title on it's own is worth a high vote. Of course, we don't vote on the title. I want to know how you did this sort of selective desat within basic editing rules. |

Working Hands by BarbBComment: What great detail and lighting on this! Reminds me of my own work. My fingers used to look like that when I worked as a field technician fixing copiers. I used lots of stuff that was hard on my hands, and couldn't do any detailed work if I wore gloves. When I eventually transitioned to doing network integration, the nasty hands went away (and my wife was happier).
My only nitpick is a bit of high ISO noise in the lower part of the frame. Not sure you could fix that in basic without killing some of the other details, however. |

Yardworkby dassilemComment: I like the idea, but it seems a little washed out and overexposed by just a touch. Could possibly benefit from some levels/curves adjustments. |
