Dome With A Viewby CraigDComment: Looks like an observatory. I'm not sure how this is showing affluence, unless you are applying that to an organization that has the money to build such a facility. It IS a very nice view. |

The Soulwellby BudyaComment: Looks like I was right about this one. You can join Judi in the list of people who hurt their score by meeting the challenge too well.
A very underrated shot. This challenge had a lot of those. Message edited by author 2008-10-23 20:06:41. |

Beautiful Deathby Purple_GirlComment: This didn't come up for me in voting. I like it. Good use of DOF (which is harder to achieve on a small sensor camera), good color and detail, and a very good twist on a common subject. Love the title, btw. My nitpick on this one is that I may have not cropped it so centered. I'm surprised at the low 5 it averaged, but this was a low averaging challenge for some reason. If it had come up in voting, I think I would have given it a 6. If you'd cropped it differently and maybe been able to coax more detail out of the wings, I might call it a 7. |

Outside In, Downside Upby Five_SeatComment: A neat view. Maybe could use just slightly greater DOF, but I've had a few like this as well. I'm sure the nature of the shot made it tough to focus on everything. |

Water Worldby KEEP IT REALComment: Seems like a snapshot to me, I'm afraid. Some straightening and a little color adjustment with levels, curves and saturation would really help. |

before a dualby ytshuvaComment: I'm going to have to be the spelling police here, but I can't help it. It is actually spelled "duel" in this context. Not sure how this is inside out, but I think it is just an interpretation of the topic that escapes me. I guess this is supposed to be a gentlemanly handshake before a fight, however it looks more like a tender holding of hands. |

banananby biggisComment: Excellent! I actually had this idea myself but could not figure out how to hold the inside out peel together. So, how did you get it to hold together so neatly? |
