I don't want to cherry pick votes this late in the game, so I am not votin on this entry, but I did want to finish handing out the first set of my new "shoehorn awards", to recognize humor and weird stuff. Quite ironic (or was it intentional?) that you misspelled "illiterate". Adds a lot to the humor in this. I'm not voting on this entry, as it's not fair for me to cherry pick this late in the challenge, but this gets one of my first "shoehorn awards", which I am going to give to humorous and off beat entries.

The brightness of the leaf seems to overpower the water drops, which would stand out more if this were processed differently. I think downplaying the water drops may cost you points. After all, water drops are a standard high score prop on DPC. I like it however, and I am pleased that you played up the background texture instead of the drops.

I know it's tonemapped HDR, and that's what it's supposed to look like when done that way, but it looks a bit too much unnatural to me. It's actually a pretty good image, I may just be getting to the point where the "wow" look of HDR is not bowling me over anymore. My own entry is a little unnatural looking, so I am most certainly the pot calling the kettle black. I'll be curious to see where this one comes in.

Seems a bit bright and oversaturated to me. Something just doesn't look right to me, but I'm not totally sure what it is. Perhaps this one has just too much detail to fit into 720 pixels.

These things are soooo cool. I'm amazed at the variations in colors these seem to have. I got a similarly detailed shot of a nice bright blue one recently.
