Carbon and Emissionsby PaulComment: Kind of a semi abstract view. I'm not really caring for it much myself, though I do think there are some folks this will appeal to. Perhaps it is the composition. My eye wanders around and does not really get led to anything. |

gas station at sunsetby pooleaComment: Nice sunset, though things seem a little soft. I see some compression artifacts around the overhead lights. Your file size of only 58k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what is robbing a lot of the detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one)
Here is how the compression is adjusted in PaintShop Pro, if it helps at all. Of course, I don't know what you are editing with. |

• de ( POST – IT ) ion •by Bear_MusicComment: 5.75 is pretty darn good for an abstract on DPC, IMO. I was expecting to find this down in the 4's, simply because that's where abstracts normally fall. You pulled it off well. I gave it an 8, BTW. |

Stuck on a Post-It Noteby LydiaComment: Thanks for adding the "how I did it". Now I'm thinking of the time a huge fly was buzzing around the windowsill, and I said to the cat: "Samantha, get that fly!" As if she understood me, she immediately swatted it with her paw, and ate the fly, in one motion. |

February - Winter Stillby gsalComment: Love the look on her face. It does convey the feeling of a chilly breeze on a city street. The pink jacket contrasts well with the gray building. |

Novemberby rayg544Comment: I'm not caring for this I'm afraid. I think the biggest problem, for me, is in the composition. The main subject seems to be intended to be the waterfall, which is a thin strip, centered in the frame, partially hidden by the field in the foreground. That field is the brightest and largest thing in the frame and it is what attracts the eye instead of the waterfall. A closer view of this waterfall, perhaps at an angle of from river level, might have been quite nice. |

Pubs - The Sail and Anchor - Februaryby dougi555Comment: Not sure if the shadows of the leaves are a nice feature or not. I guess I would have to see a shot at a different time of day to relly know. I can certainly see this on a pub calendar, though. |

Februaryby stupidcatComment: Cute. Perhaps a touch too soft for my own preference, but that's a nitpick. |
