Grendel's Caveby labudsComment: I lived in AZ and did large format film work--I got so tired of seeing slot canyon shots: I LIKE this one!! I especially appreciate that you did not go the extreme saturation false color route that seems to be de rigeur for slot canyon shots. This looks REAL and LOVELY at the same time, with no supernatural supersaturation needed. Thanks for doing this differently. |

Charlotteby TranquilComment: I must state that I usually am bored to death by most pet pics, but this one is simply stunning--very well done! 7 |

Old Blue Eyesby acoppolaComment: wow! this is an extraordinary subject, supremely well seen and shot, but the blue eyes just really take me out of this image--such a beautiful b/w portrait, but the blue eyes just start screaming manipulation at me. Take them back to grayscale, and this image will SING, not scream. (but I am an old school b/w film guy who never scored a portrait this wonderful, so it could be old codger jealousy here, so factor that in, too) |

Innocenceby zxaarComment: I love this image, and the exposure and tones are wonderful. A slightly off-center (just a bit) framing, and just a little more room between the toes and the bottom of the frame might be interesting to see, too. But I tagged this as a favorite! |
