Cy.jpgby IvoryComment: Very dapper looking (even if it is not his normal way of dressing)! Quite an impressive difference between the images you posted of your two sons. Photographically this is great -- lighting, focus, tonal range, etc. To me the expression is more of sadness than boredom. |

shutter bugby JutildaComment: What works nicely about the harsh editing is that you blow away enough details in the background that the people and other objects just become somewhat amorphous shapes and thereby do not detract from the depiction of the all-star photographer. |

Reagan Elizabethby SandyPComment: Wow, what a cutie! Outstanding details, colors, lighting, DOF, colors, etc, etc. And she is blessed by having a grandmother who is a great photographer! |

Arielby stupidcatComment: Excellent work here -- excellent lighting, great details and skin tones, wonderful match between the background and hair -- sorry to sound like I am just repeating what SandyP had to say, but it is all true. My only suggestion would be to do a bit of focal sharpening on the eyes -- they are great as it but the extra sharpening will really make them sparkle. |

'B' Movieby PaulComment: Nicely posed and lit. Love the processing, does indeed have the B movie look. Very nice. |

Ty.jpgby IvoryComment: Excellent job here. Great details and sharpness, nicely composed/posed. Lighting is good but my only quibble is the shadow in his left eye; taking this closer to sunrise or sunset may have reduced/eliminated the shadow. |

OK, I am back. Really, really nice. Great colors and patterns, very elegant. Nice combination of sharp face and hand with the softness of the rest. |

Day Threeby LMA128Comment: Great expression on the face. I like the composition with the empty space. High contrast look works well. Suggestion for improvement: there is a small tuft of hair at the top which is sharper than the rest; presumably you don't want to (or can't) sharpen the rest of the face so I would blur that tuft of hair a bit. |

Jan 03 2010by JaimeVinasComment: Nicely posed and composed action shot. Lighting is stellar as usual. Colors are great. Face looks a bit gritty -- depending on what look you want to create, I would either make is smoother or more gritty. |
