Clever set up. Would like to see it brighter. Interesting that my first impression was of a continuous extrusion of yellow (paint?) with some black object across it, with it taking a second look to see the idea of a separate droplet and some more coming out. Still get the impression of implied continuity easily, maybe because of such a uniformly dark background.

Yelllow is subtle here. I like the extures of the brush strokes well as an abstract. To my eye, the picture frame takes too much space and attention (even though there is yellow glinting there).
