Originality: abstracting star/stripe ides of Independence Day without the cliche colors
Composition: excellent balance of light and dark, shapes and negative space, near symmetry with interesting variation
Narrative: allows viewer's imagination to play with what you present

A shade of blue! Light behind objects -- making shadows that fall on the window dressing -- fits a nontraditional vision of contre-jour in my opinion. Love the intricate texture balanced by the thin horizontal lines, and the contemplative mood.

One of my top scores for this challenge. Really linke the subdued tone, textures, and irregular rhythm of the many layers of waves. I imagine you had quite a time deciding just how to crop this, as many variations could work well.
