My very first submissionby ed_lee85Comment: Nice capture of a nighttime mood. Do keep submitting. Focus can be difficult at night, but this kind of image calls for sharper focus. Play around with the focus settings or consider manual focus in low light. Having the far end of the walkway tilted makes for an uncomfortable sliding sensation that could be corrected by a little rotation in post processing. For a "purple" challenge, higher votes will go to images that draw the eye to that color. In this case, the artificial lighting could use a little white balance correction to make the purple jacket stand out more. Good luck. |

Solitudeby WalkingFishComment: Very well composed. The solid wall of large repeating stone pattern isolates woody effectively and contributes to the mood. |

us? in a box?by cutoutComment: Very artistic and smooth cut out template for the light to make such great figures. I would have placed this in the top three based on creativity, style, and composition. |

Through the Dark Skyby halopesComment: Nice stripe of orange glistening sand at the edge of the water, and good balance of exposure. Makes me want something more to grab my eye. Looks like a well-prepared stage just waiting for the actors to arrive. |

When Two Become Oneby hazeComment: Great capture, although the background makes it more like a snapshot. Consider cropping to use the tre trunk as a left hand frame and to remove the guy with the yellow shirt. |
