Nice capture of texture, but I think framing it differently would be more effective. First, I would have the left side of the bread in a little, and the bottom of the bread up some. Then, because the main part of the bread is whitish, I would choose a different background color. I think I'm hungry now. :-) karmat

The whole picture seems a little too weighted on teh left to me. Maybe if the camera were over to the left a fraction, so tha that the open space on the right wasn't there, it would feel more balanced to me. karmat

Purple

Very good focus and capture of the texture. I also like the shades of purple. I think it needs something, though, to make it a little more interesting. Maybe if the purple was a background for something that is contrasting in both color and texture.

Interesting composition, and I like the simpleness of the colors. It is a good picture, but I think it would be more effective for this challenge if we could see the texture of the grass more, or if there was more of the ball in detail. The roughness of the grass and the smoothness of the ball would be nice contrasts. karmat
