The colors in this are wonderful, and it looks like it would be a really good macro. However, it seems that it is extremely pixelated. It looks like you have cropped it out of a larger picture, then enlarged it or something. Of course, if this is deliberate, that is another story all together, and I would be most interested in hearing why. karmat

I think a different crop, maybe not so tight on the bottom, would help. Also, there are some bright washed out areas that make it difficult to look at. I had originally given this a much lower score, but after re-evaluating it, I am bumping it up some because it looks like those ufo shots seen in tabeloids. karmat

The composition and colors of this look like it would make a very interesting picture, but the lack of focus (whether deliberate or not) really detract from the overall effectiveness I think. I like the bright light in the middle, and the relative darkness elsewhere. Also, there seems to be a lot of noise and it looks like you shot it through a screen. Maybe oversharpened? karmat

There is a lot in this picture that vies for the attention of the views -- lots of bright colors, shapes, etc. Would it ahve been possible to get closer to the bug so that it was a more prominent piece of the picture (I almost missed it the first time around). Maybe a macro or something. karmat

At first glance, it looks like the face in the mirrow is on the body of the person just beyond! I think the picture is a touch too dark because some of the details are missing, and it is difficult to discern exactly what you were trying to portray. karmat

I think a horizontal crop that eliminated some of the "open" sky would be more effective than the vertical. Also, was the greenish-blue cast intentional? If not, maybe some white balance correction would help. If it was, I would love to know why you chose to do that! karmat

I think a tighter crop would have helped eliminate the white sky, which isn't detracting, but really doesn't add anything to the picture, either, in my opinion. Also, it seems to be tilted some, but I know that can happen with water/landscapes because of the direction of the opposing shore line. The exposure/lighting and colors are good. Looks like a good place to go bass fishing! karmat
