Seems to be a bit grainy, almost like the brightness/contrast was adjusted a bit too much, or perhaps slightly oversharpened.

I think a bit more of the texture needs to be visible in the bottom of the picture, but I am at work ;-) so it may be the monitor. neat shot.

Getting closer to the subject, so taht the texture was even more prominent would have made this shot very nice, I think. It is an interesting subject
