I, personally, don't like the colors, BUT I do like the textures and the shapes. I also really like that this just isn't a shot of a hobby or profession, but rather speaks to your personality and style. I suspect you are a complex individual, who marches to your own drummer and typically doesn't see things as others see them.

This is exactly what I would like to do with my phone (which represents all those things that tie me to civilization!) sometimes. The lack of sharp focus, the presence of "grain" and the overall "imperfection" of this shot make it all the more poignant and real, to me.

This is one of those shots that appeals to me, though I am finding it difficult to articulate why. I like just the hint of color indicating that either better times are remembered, or better times are just ahead.

This is an awesome shot and didn't score anywhere as high as it should have!!!! Great detail (and expression) on the fish and good shallow dof. It almost looks as if he is saying, "Uh Roy, I think we have a small problem here. Roy. Roy? RoooooooY?!!!?!?!?!?!?"
