Very well done self portrait. I like the "closeness" of it, and the fact that you haven't felt it necessary to include all of the head. That really forces attention to the eyes.

Also, I think that you have done a superb job with the focus, lighting, contrast, etc. in this shot. It is technically very well done, and a strong image.

I think what might be missing is something for the viewer to connect with. While I like the clean background, sometimes having something there helps to provide a context for the shot that this doesn't have. Also, your expression is largely indecipherable, but you look a bit nervous/unsure of yourself. Not enough to for the viewers to relate to, but you don't look completely relaxed, either.

Again, I think this was a strong image that met the challenge well. Best to you in future challenges.

My favorite in the challenge. The lighting on this is, imo, perfect. Enough is lit that it is obvious it is a "cowboy," but enough is "hidden," that it could be any man. Great composition.
