Grunge Layerby JutildaComment: Now, this looks more like something eerie, only I can't quite tell what it is. I think it needs maybe one tiny identifying detail to make it more interesting. Otherwise, it's a good combination of shapes and graduation of tones. |

Poltergeistby JutildaComment: Soon as I saw the title I had to chuckle, even before the image loaded. Actually, she's way too pretty to be a poltergeist. I would have probably called this 'sympathetic stare'. It's adorable! |

5-march 09 unconventional. mourningby rozComment: Roz, this is beautifully done. I think the way her face fades in and out of the darkness is supurb. It's almost as if she is watching over you. You handled this very very well. The balancing whites against the deep dark hues and the gentle script at the bottom are all tributes to her memory. |

4-march 09 unconventional. loveby rozComment: Tegan is quite lovely, I think the techniques you used for this worked extremely well. It's a masterpiece.
I wish DPC would get with the program and incorporate some challenges that encourage these and other 'unconventional' editing techniques. It's so much more interesting working outside the box and exercising our creative license in unique and different ways! |

Blurry walkby MelethiaComment: The pidgeons and umbrella actually do make this work! Without them, it's just a guy walking.. which isn't all that bad.. but the extras definitely add something to the mix, beings the blur points to those elements. I can't look at this too long, it kind of makes me dizzy. But it has a dreamlike feel to it.. like something out of a Bergman film!!! |

HIS LOVE BLUR Iby rodfulkComment: The glow you achieved here works perfectly for these candles. I prefer vanilla berry! ;-) |

Clowning BLUR I by rodfulkComment: Eyes are the widows to the soul and his are definitely disturbed. The blur works very well for this.. clouds the facial features and enhances the sadness in the face. Fill frame close crop works well too! |

Nevermoreby GermaineComment: Has kind of a dark Poe feel to it, borders on the macabre. This kind of imagery is very reminiscent of filmwork during the 30s and 40s. Lots of great texture and excellent bird detail. |

to be a flowerby JutildaComment: Very subtle, beautifully captured. Backlighting can be very tricky to accomplish but you definitely nailed this one. Excellent! |

Songsby cginoComment: Beautiful impressionistic effect. Very turn-of-the-century. The stylized text definitely adds something special to the overall composition. |
