LOL! That's funny but true, cats do tend to get in the way. I have six of them, so you can imagine what I go through trying to side step all these cats. Cuz when you step on their tails they get really hurt and the looks they give you.
The eye in this capture is amazing, it shows so much detail.. it's like you can actually see inside there. Beautiful detail study!

Wonderful blue in this! You're right about the background, it adds so much to a capture. In this case, the bright blue highlights and frames the bird very nicely. The blurred verticals also help frame the bird.

Welcome back Scott, hope you enjoyed sunny FL! I'm still shooting dried up weeds and brown mud. I love the colors and design effect in your fish. It's a delight to look at, makes me feel more alive! I'll just feast my eyes on this for awhile and hopefully drown the brown mud out of my brain. ;-)
