wierd-photo.jpgby dougi555Comment: Wow, Alan! This enters a whole new realm of digital imaging! Your lack of explanation makes it a little difficult to interpret what you did but it appears to be a series of composites layered onto a white framing. I wonder if it even needs the red velvet background. Very innovative and superbly executed! |

22-march 09. concentrationby rozComment: Jeanne.. haha, I can see your point on the bikini bottom. It didn't occur to me until I read your post but, I took the time to really study this and I could see Lauren's face in the shadows. This is an excellent example of Roz's unique ability to merge photos together and create something totally different and at times, unusual. I was intrigued by the thumbnail and just had to see what this was. The blur creates a wonderful focus on the bird which is so pretty. Looks like a little parakeet.. beautiful white feathers with subtle markings. |

The Wallby RulerZigzagComment: I like your philosophy re: out of the box entries and totally agree with you. Your imagery is unique and has a wonderful sense of design. The POV in this is exceptional. This has an irridescent quality about it. Excellent!! |

Easter.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Very inspirational and abstract at the same time. Your technique works extremely well for this, the overlays create the illusion of floating. I like it! |

Rodfulk BLURIby rodfulkComment: A little hot on the upper side of your face but otherwise, a very impressive capture. It's amazing what cell phones are capable of.. mine is a cheapy and doesn't take photos but I'm surprised at the quality of those that do. This has nice color tones and excellent detail. Like the hat! |

Hyper-speed - 2by scooter97Comment: Good sense of movement. I like what you've done with this! The PP suits it and the elongated effect works very well. I think the diptych version is great for this! |

Window Balletby JutildaComment: I'm going to comment before I read any of the other comments as I want to be completely candid on this. It appears to be a murder victim strung up in some bizarre manner. Now that's my initial reaction to this. If I were to read more into it, I might say it appears to be a superimposed image to give the impression of a ballet dancer as you have indicated in the title. However, it's a little too morose in character to transmit that very well. Without the title to define it, it could be anything. It is however, very well done. |

Rejectedby KelliComment: Very nicely done, great border effect. He appears to have his eye on something.. if that's his eye pointing downward. Kind of looks like an Iguana-type creature. He really pops out of that leafy background.
Back when I was in art school (Phila College of Art) we had this skinny model named Vicky who used to wander around the halls with two Iguanas on her shoulders. She also used to sit in the cafeteria and munch on raw onions. |

20-march09 unconventional. in the grassby rozComment: Everytime I look at your amazing imagery I recall the illustrations in my Alice's Adventures in Wonderland book, these are the original illustrations by Tenniel. Your wonderful images remind me of these characters. I think they are superb. You may be jealous of my hair, LOL! But I am in awe of your imagery. |
