I Promise to Love and Holdby stfleckComment: nice effort at doing the selective desat to highlight the shape. Unfortunately the overall image has an unattractive washed out look.
try bumping up the green slightly, For the B&W portion , play with the contrast and make it look even more out of focus to artificially exaggerate shallow DOF. |

Hide & Seekby manic35Comment: The colors here are very nice, just the right amount of saturation. I like the crop. The thing missing is some catchlight in the eye. One suggestion, use a reflector, position it so that she will be looking at it, hopefully the reflection will be reflected back in the eye. 7 |

"Itchy, Flakey, Scalp ?"by Wraith RavenscroftComment: Nice details on the dog, he needs to stand out more from the background to have more overall impact. Recommend you selectively , blur the background more (add gaussian blur, try different strengths) and increase the dog's contrast from the rest of the surroundings carefully. 6 |

Footstepsby shotComment: this was one of the toughest image to vote (at least for me). It is not a clear cut not my cup of tea (1 , 2 or 3). I do not really like the composition, maybe a more vertical crop to include a little more of the shadows.
I like the fact that the image seems to be telling me how the child is trying to emulate the adult's footsteps and speed. Sorry, 5 from me. |

Break Free!by grgkopanasComment: Maybe you can try to go for a slightly different background. A gradiated one would be good or maybe play with reflections of the eggshells. |

drying outby drydocComment: cool macro, the thing to improve here would be to have a more appealing , nice bokeh background. So in cases like this, you mave to selectively add a blur selectively to your background , 6 |
