The Hungerby TarbiniComment: Great shot, greener than green. More garish than necessary? :-) |

Powerplantby skrimsliComment: Very good capture, albeit a dull and limiting topical choice propped by an explanatory title. |

Evolve by VipermikeComment: Perfect, topical, slick (although... 'slick' may be an attribute befitting 'the other side').
The duotone works wonderfully well. |

Mommy said it was ten o'clock when green eye turned my world upside down.by sg10Comment: I found this shot difficult to rate.
As opposed to most other pieces, this one is (refreshingly) high on 'content'. It, simply, provokes more thought and debate than one with a 'slick' or 'vogue' feel to it. From an artistic perspective, I think, what is remarkable here, is the fact that technical skill and measure has been subordinated to content. This, IMO, makes a classic, i.e. something that will endure time. |

Overloaded ... Coming ... Flash Matrixby gaja_tzComment: I found this shot difficult to rate. It's obviously a dramatic capture with considerable range (I'm thinking of the cozy tungsten window glow vs. the cold street lights and lightning flashes).
The topicality of this shot, however, asks for a liberal interpretation of the matrix.
On reflection, I think it should not loose any points for this, since, at least, I am grateful that the range of choices is only extended by this contribution. |

The red pill or the blue pill?by hawkidaComment: The accurate intricacies of the skin texture and tone provide a point of interest beyond a near banal representation of the two pills, many will, no doubt, focus on.
The successful juxtaposition makes this otherwise straightforward macro worthwhile. |

You think that's air you're breathing now? by e301Comment: The urban landscape is out of focus, the border is too bold, the paper is torn ! Just kidding -
this is an interesting and truly different take on the matter. The collage does not 'lift' anything from the movie either! Well done. |
