Flaps down!by MikeOComment: I think the high key nature of this long exposure works rather well. The small amount of visible surface underneath the rear duck creates just enough base to understand the image... = 7 |

Crash in the nightby terjeComment: Very nice scene for a long traffic exposure. The color here creates some nice impact... = 7 |

Driveby Spork99Comment: Very interesting technique :) I like the theory behind this shot quite a bit. The combination of stopped motion inside the car and the blur outside is intriguing. You get extra points for a creative exposure with the flash :) = 8 |

Zooming Verdigo....by DrakeComment: VerTigo is definitely a sense that zoom bursts can create. I think you did a decent job with this technique. It's not easy. I tried it for the first time myself this week... = 6 |

windmillby TLL061Comment: Windmills are good subjects for motion blur... I think this particular photo would benefit from a tighter composition because the empty space is not adding anything to the image. = 5 |

About to miss the 38by redmoonComment: The theme here is interesting... I'm not sure if the exposure is a good one though. You have created the motion but the 'tension' created by the overexposure on this photo may be a bit harsh... = 6 |

clarifying the morning fogby daisy77Comment: Interesting theme.. this could go two ways. I could be blurry because I haven't had coffee... I could be blurry because I have had too much :) Your title leads me to the former... Hmmm.. I could be blurry because I have had too much alcohol and the coffee is going to sober me up... it makes me think, none-the-less... nice work :) = 8 |

Eye Magazine by arnitComment: Arni, this girl has the most beautiful eyes. I assume this is the same model you have used in the past. Every photo I have ever seen of her draws me in with her eyes... great work as usual :) |

sonny portraitby jbruno1397Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club...
Hi Jbruno...
I think this is a decent portrait shot. The composition is nice and the soft light and soft focus effect seems to work nicely in conjunction with the image noise. I think the low contrast always adds a sense of peacefulness to the image. It looks like the comments you have received on this photo are all over the board. Black and white, soft focus, and grain are all elements that are liked and disliked subjectively. Not many people take the purpose behind it into consideration and evaluate based on those considerations.
Good work :)
