Lofty Motionby justineComment: Nice theme... I like the more subtle motion you have provided here. I think this image wold be improved with a horizontal flip to put the flag pole on the left to keep the flag in it's proper orientation :) = 6 |

High Velocity Arrivalby ArcyComment: I like the color and movement in this photo. Interestingly enough, this seems quite 'chaotic' to me :) = 7 |

Dust in the Windby mirdonamyComment: I believe this theme would work better in a setting where the falling dirt had a little more contrast with the background. Since both are the same color, some of your motion gets lost... = 5 |

Ironingby PDavisComment: The theme here is good. Black and white also seems to work well. I believe this is a case of a tad too much blur to support your theme. The title tells me what I'm looking at, but without that, I would have had a difficult time determining the subject. A little less blur would probably help add some definition without losing the theme of motion blur.. = 5 |

City of Starsby NonageComment: Interesting :) I have seen some photos like this where the photographer simply kicked the tripod during the exposure to create some nice effect... = 6 |

Chasing the windby divernickComment: This photo has some good potential. The noise and odd color seems a bit strange to me... somewhat abstract. = 4 |

Zooom!by scrum8Comment: The subtle motion blur here is good. The photo seems to lack context though. Is she walking, running, riding a bike? The background choice doens't really support the subject well either. = 3 |

Country Walking Magazine by jonpinkComment: Jon, this was one of my favorite photos in the challenge, but I never got around to commenting on much this week. This is an excellent photo. I love the angry feel of the clouds. The color here is nice but I'm wondering if you have experimented with a slightly contrasty and grainy b/w feel for this one...
Nice work :) |

Ducks Unlimitedby nsoroma79Comment: Hi Lorrie...
I was just reading your comment about the light not being good because it was overcast. I found that quite interesting because I do a lot of duck/geese/waterfowl photos and I generally prefer overcast skies to direct sunlight for them. I find my good exposures come a lot easier in even soft light rather than harsh sun. This particular image could have had some rough shadows underneath or on either side with direct sun... I just thought I would toss that in here and see how u felt about it. :)
