This photo is very nicely executed. The square composition accents the 'centered subject' theme with a lot of strength. Your subject is also nicely separated and contrasted from the background with your depth of field choice. This photo has strong elements of shape, texture, perspective, color, contrast, and subject choice. Each of these integrate nicely to form a strong photo. The insects also provide something extra in this photo. They help create a dual subject and increase the overall interest/impact. Excellent work :)

Thanks for the comment. At the time this photo was made, that type of edit was not allowed. My finished version of this photo has had some modifications like you have mentioned :)
