NAIADby tomlewis1980Comment: I like this photograph!! This is a very nice example of stopped motion. All compositional elements are fine with me. I'm trying to decide what the blue background is doing to help the photo. Im not sure that its giving me the contrast that I would like to see but, none-the-less, this is nice work :) |

Fireby risu81Comment: This is an interesting photo. Fire isn't an easy subject to shot stopped motion since it has a natural blur to it. The igniting match adds some excitement to this photo. |

Symmetry Dogsby mtngoatComment: This is a very nice photo. The contrast and composition is excellent. One of the subtleties of this photo that sets off the 'stopped motion' challenge is the collar tag from the dog on the left. It's suspended ! Good job! |

Flipping Outby 3teacherComment: This is a good stopped motion photo. I would rather see from the other side. I don't like photos of people from behind. The contrast needs a little assistance too. The detail of the moving subject is very dark. |

Flying Pinsby bruster54Comment: I think this is a nice choice of "stopped motion". I did one like this myself but didn't submit it. You can see it at //breifcase.yahoo.com/six_string_nc under the dpchallenge folder if you would like to take a look. The reflections are nice as well! |

Controled Crashby wburginComment: You are much more patient that I am. I hope you didn't have to sit all day waiting on this photo! This is an intriguing photo. To create a higher level of 'visual impact' with this shot, I would have attempted to zoom tighter or possibly crop much tighter around this bird. I also realize that this photo can't be recreated at will and I commend your choice of subject for this challenge! |

Still Waters Bubblingby KL1864Comment: This is a nice fountain. I can also see the stopped motion here. I'm trying to find something that 'moves' me in this photograph. Technically, there is very little wrong with it. Visually, I'm struggling with it. I can't really offer you any suggestions on how to improve this photo. The surrounding environment may be distracting me from the subject. Maybe I can't see enough detail of the stopped motion. The detail is lost in the distance. Keep up the good efforts! |

Candle in the windby yyyapComment: I saw this same phenomenon in the popcorn photo in this challenge. Your candle flame is absorbing the blue light from the rest of the image. I'm not sure that a candle flame is the best choice of subjects for a 'stopped motion' challenge. The composition of this photograph is nice. I'm not impressed with its association with 'stopped motion'. |

way homeby karutuneComment: It was a nice effort. I suppose that the car is "stopped motion" but the overall effect of the challenge display is lacking... |
