Texas Indian Blanketsby marcelleComment: The flowers are nice... I can't put my finger on it but there is something wrong with this photo. It looks very grainy. There is no sharpness... |

Overviewby ciscocaliComment: This shot looked much better from the thumbnai perspective... There are some definite focus issues on the plant branches. Achieving good depth of field is hard sometimes but it's worth the effort on a shot like this. I don't know what kind of camera you use, but a shot like this could have easily been made from a tripod with a smaller aperture to achieve full focus on this shot. If your camera doesn't allow this, you may wish to consider evaluating your subjects and working exclusively within the range of your camera's capabilities. Try this same shot again and move back from the wall about 18" and see if th focus doesn't improve some :) |

Sather Towerby bobgaitherComment: This is a nice photo... i see your "ground up" subject but I wish this particular photo had a higher camera angle and was shooting towards a higher elevation. *My* interpretation of this challenge is not well displayed in this shot, but I don't expect everyone to see things like I do! Good job... |

Fractals Entering Cartesian Spaceby ReignComment: This is an interesting photograph but I think it would do a much better job of relaying the challenge topic if it was rotated 90 degrees clockwise to give some sense of looking up. |

Worlds-Wide Webby GeneralEComment: This is a very interesting photograph. I think that it closely resembles the concept of Mousie's Night Shot entry. If this was the intent, you have selected a great photographer as a model for your work. If the fence in this photo were a little more in focus, I think you would have a much better image. Good work! |

Powerby paully2k1Comment: This is a good interpreation of the challenge. I think a day time shot would have appealed a little more to me. The flash is focusing the attention on the bottom part of this pole and distracting a little from its height.... |

Freedomby sonicblisComment: This is a nice shot! Did you try catching her on the upswing from a low perspective to enhance the "ground up" feeling? |

up or downby heritconComment: This is an interesting interpretation of this challenge but the photograph just doesn't grab me. The contrast is weak... |
