Among White Diamondsby karmatComment: I'm having a difficult time deciding what I am looking at here... Is it a perfume bottle shot from the bottom? The lack of focus makes this shot hard to interpret... |

Whoa Horsyby debcardComment: I would have had a difficult time determining what this object is without the title to help me. The composition here is very nice! I don't know if blurring the trees in the background would have added to this shot... Good job! |

Spin Cycleby connieComment: Nice shot! This is a great interpretation of this challenge. I doubt that this was possible, but cropping out the wall on the left would have made a minor improvement in this shot. Good job! |

Together We Stand, Divided We Fallby akcoffeeguyComment: i don't know what this is, but i'll make a guess that it's a spring suspension on a rail car maybe? i do see that the camera is pointing upwards but i don't think this is a strong interpretation of the challenge idea... |

asunderby lauComment: This is an interesting photo but I am having trouble relating it to the challenge. The title isn't helping me either. Kudos on the black and white though :) They are the best! |

Planting Miss Daisyby SpeignerComment: Sharp focus in the foreground of this photograph would have enhanced it greatly. It seems that the leaves of the plant got nice focus but the roots, which are closer to the camera lens, did not. |

Cylindricityby Ricky CleaveComment: This is a good interpretation of the challenge... I do like camera tilt but i'm not sure what it's adding to this particular photo... |

Upby i3ullseyeComment: This is an interesting statue photograph. I like the angle of this shot too. The only issue I have with this shot is that the 'belly' area of this statue has, what I like to call, a 'hot spot'. This is an area where the light is a little too bright on the photo. I believe your flash may have caused this. When this happens, you can either try to set your flash to a lower power mode or you can veil the flash with something like a piece of sheer cloth material or something to reduce and disperse the light away from the subject just a little. Sometimes, scotch tape can be used to achieve this... |

Stained Classby jmsetzlerComment: Thanks for the comments on this photo... I chose to do this photo in black and white because the concrete molding in and around the window had a rather ugly green tint due to the lighting and the trees. I ruined this photo by naming it 'Stained Class' which indicates the presence of color... I should have chosen a more appropriate name... |

Get Me Down! by joebarComment: I think this is my favorite photo of this challenge. Allowing this diagonal to show the shower head makes it very obvious to me where this shot is set. The look on this cat's face seals this photo up as my only 10 in this challenge. The shower door is a little out of focus and could have possibly been avoided, but based on what I have seen in this challenge, I'm marking this photo as my favorite by making it the only 10 I give this week. Nice job! |
