The First of Many Cliches

I don't find this shot to be 'cliche'... I really wish that term would abandon this site. it's getting old already. This shot is a good interpretation of the transition. The first step being out of focus is a little distracting to the shot. A little more depth of field would have also brought the door at the top of the stairs into sharper focus. The angle of the camera in this shot doesn't accent the stairs as much as I would like to see... otherwise, nice shot!

interesting photograph here... According to your title, the flowers here are the subject of this photo and they are heading down rather than up??? The camera is pointed up though... I think I may understand your interpretation of the challenge but a stronger interpretation or stronger display of this interpretation would interest me much more...

I really like the concept of this photo and how it meets the challenge... However, i really wish the cactus was in sharp focus rather than the rock in the front of the frame. The subject (cactus) should be the focal point of this shot unless I am missing something here... Good shot!
