Gordon, thanks for the comment... I added the water to this.. it was done inside on my livingroom floor... I placed the leaf (back side up) on a drinking glass about 6" above the floor on top of a black shirt... I provided the light with a 500w halogen lamp and left a dark shadow underneat the leaf so I could easily make the background completely black. The color version of this photo has had the levels adjusted back to as close to the original color as possible...

Interesting photo! I like everything about this shot with the exception of the lighting... the light seems farily hot in the lower portion of the frame... good job!

I really like this photo :) The reflections in her sunglasses tell me that this was probably done while she was driving... This scores well with me this week! The only critique I have to offer is on the crop.. I believe that just a little more extra space above the glasses and below the lips would be very nice... great shot!

Excellent composition here... The only improvement I could possibly suggest would be to have this on a darker background that would offer a little more contrast between the background and the hands... nice work!
