I love the way this red building punches out... the color is great.. almost TOO much but not quite :) The only problem I have is the top left corner of this frame... *I* think that the bird in the window alone is a great entry for the city life challenge :) = 7 - jmsetzler

First of all, i really like this image and I'm voting it accordingly. I am concerned with some things I see in this photo though... The vertical lines indicate scanning and it also appears that some wires or something have been edited out of the image. there are some diagonals (slight diagonals) running across the frame that look strange. score = 7 - jmsetzler

I like your hotel shot but I'm not very keen on the angle of the sun. I think this shot would have been a lot nicer about 20 minutes or so later in the day when the sun had fallen a little lower. Shooting into the sun has caused a little over exposure and washout in the top part of this image. = 6 jmsetzler

This is an interesting concept of city life.. especially with the wires and the garbage cans... The colors are a little flat and there seems to be a decent amount of jpeg compression artifacts lingering around... the wires are not crisp... good effort though :) = 5 - jmsetzler
