Arion aterby UberFishComment: excellent image... this is perfect depth of field settings for this shot and the texture on this 'creature' is phenomenal :) = 8 - jmsetzler |

Wonder Bread - Essential Nutrientsby PeltzComment: very good concept on the texture challenge... my only critique on this one is that it may work better with some extra space on the left and on the bottom, especially since the bread edge is not completely vertical on the left... = 6 - jmsetzler |

Up A Treeby rondajewelComment: This particular image does not create a sense of great texture for me. I see the texture here, but this texture is something i see every day... = 5 - jmsetzler |

Chains R Usby arnitComment: This photo is a very good idea. I think this photo had quite a great potential as well. I think the depth of field in this one could use a little bit of work to improve the overall image. There is a very small plane of focus in this image and it seems that the majority of the subject area here is out of focus. If you go to the LEARN link here on DPC and choose TUTORIALS, there is a GREAT photography tutorial there called "Classical Photo Course" that contains some great information on depth of field and how you can control it... It also shows some great examples of where different levels of depth of field work well.... good luck :) = 7 - jmsetzler |

Train station hallwayby mardocheeComment: I'm not sure that I like the sighs cut on the left and right edges... I think this particular view would also work much better in focus... = 5 - jmsetzler |

Damn Reflection...by chuckComment: My eye goes immediately to the texture in this frog's eye... this is a great photo for sure... The only thing I don't like about this photo is the color of the surrounding environment and you probably did not have much control over that... = 9 - jmsetzler |

Krinkled!by AquaGoddess12880Comment: The texture on this photo is good, but the bright lighting and the overall impact of this particular subject doesn't really grab me very well. = 5 - jmsetzler |
