This is a very neat 'old' doll :) I believe that this photo could have had a LOT more impact if it was shot on a background that offered some more contrast... a darker background... maybe a composition that didn't bullseye center the subject would have worked better too :) - jmsetzler

excellent shot... perfect depth of field... my only critiqe on this one is to either try to get closer or use a tighter crop... possibly a diagonal orientation of the chain in the frame would be nice too... good work :) - jmsetzler

This is definitely an old fuel gage :) I think this photo would have some extra visual impact of the view was a little wider and the gage was off center... good shot :) - jmsetzler

Interesting :) I read your comments on this photo earlier in the forums... I think the composition on this photo would be better if the eye was located in the upper left third of the frame. The yellow tinting is a 'neat' effect but I don't really see what it adds to the photo. It doesn't 'take away' but it's not really a value-added enhancement for me. I also think that some more sharpness would accent the wrinkles and 'age' attributes of the face... good shot :) - jmsetzler

This is beautiful work... the lighting is SUPERB. In my local camera club, this photo would get pounded because of the fence. These people in my club feel that a landscape photo needs a path or entrance for the viewer to walk into the scene. They feel that objects blocking that 'entrance' path are not a good thing... anyway.. that's them.. i don' t feel that way :) The mood of this photo makes me very comfortable... I can just imagine myself standing here on a cool mountain morning... about 65 degrees outside... I love this photo... it gets a 10 this week... good work :) - jmsetzler

this is definitely an interesting subject for 'old'... the camera tilt is bothering me just a bit... in a case like this, I think that either perfectly vertical would work or a much more drastic tilt... - jmsetzler
