This is most excellent... The lighting is perfect and the back lighting from behind the pepper is an excellent idea. Technically, this photo is almost perfect... Everything is nice and crisp except for a few of the seeds below the pepper, but that is trivial. Great idea and great shot :) = 10 - jmsetzler

interesting concept... i would love to see this one photographed from a slightly lower angle rather than from above... The flash from your camera has also watshed out some of the detail in the hats... - jmsetzler

very unique concept :) The lighting on the red pepper may be a bid strong... the detail in that pepper isn't showing through as much as the other two... my camera has trouble with reds sometimes... = 7 - jmsetzler

This is a nice shot... I think a vertical orientation may have worked out a little better :) I'm scoring this one an 8, but i'm concerned abou the little spot in the upper right corner. This makes me wonder if the background has been edited out. The reflection under the glass from the glass stem makes me think that this surface is reflective. It also looks like the camera flash was used to light this shot... this would have lit up a lot more of this surface.... - jmsetzler
