gypsy windby SeanachaiComment: This is an interesting shot but the eye area looks a bit washed out.. possibly over dodge? not sure... Interesting none-the-less :) |

Puss in Booksby kevrobertsonComment: Every now and then I come across a great photo and I like to comment on it. The image itself is just wonderful. The cat is looking at you and the "I like food" tag on the collar is just great :) THAT should be the theme of this image. Your title drags the thought away from that theme quite a bit. This photo gets a 10 from me. I have a feeling it won't do particularly well overall though, even though I wish it would be a ribbon winner :) |

Prehistoricby dartompkinsComment: I was just curious if this photo was made with an image stabilizing lens because of the anomolies in the background. |

Helping Hand by aznymComment: This is a great shot. I hate to see that it didn't score much higher, even though it did win first place. I think the challenge topic itself probably held the score down in this challenge overall. In a 'free study' I bet this photo would have scored much higher.
Congrats on an extremely nice addition to your portfolio. |

Strike a Poseby typologicComment: This is a phenomenal photo and a great black and white... This shot sorta personifies the nature of a cat for me :) |

Jack in the Boxby PaulinaRDComment: Greetings....
This photo is a nice profile shot, but there are a few issues that you should consider here... 1. The background is a little powerful for the subject. There are a lot of strong lines and contrasts there that make the image a bit 'busy' overall. 2. The image is a little soft in some key areas, probably due to a shallow depth of field aperture setting on the camera. 3. The light provided by the flash is creating a lot of harsh contrast in the image.
Without the title here, i would have trouble determining that this dog is in a box with this tight composition.

"TRUE LOVE"by joansuzyComment: The visible editing here is too obvious for this to be a good photo... |
