this is a very nice still life setup... I have a couple ideas of how this shot could be more powerful :) 1) lower angle camera shot... In this image, it looks like you are looking down from above on your subject... 2) a light source other than the camera flash... lighting this shot from off center would probably create some nice shadows in the surface of the pumpkin. good shot :) - setzler

Interesting collection of 'stuff' :) This photo has very little 'subjective' impact. "What" you choose to photograph is very important. It's half the battle. "How" you choose to photograph it is the other half. When you create a nice combination and balance between the two, you will have great shots :) - setzler

Very nice execution of a commonly done theme... roses and musical instruments, especially pianos are good combinations of colors that work well together... The directional lighting here creates some nice shadows and creates nice highlights on your roses... great shot :) - setzler
