Illusion of artby ParentxComment: I looked for quite a while here and can't determine what the illusion is... - setzler |

Game at Dawnby FrooberComment: Excellent :) I have been wanting to try this one myeslf... The only critique I have is that the 'planets' here may be more effectively located closer to the bottom of the frame... the light is just a tad weak, but the concept is excellent... This is a perfect shot for learning how the manual settings on your camera work. In a shot like this, set your camera on a tripod and compose your image. Set your camera to fully manual exposure mode. Set the aperture to a large F number (small aperture for greater depth of field). Change the shutter speed until you find the correct exposure... The light source for this shot is particularly important also. It needs to be bright :) I think the example I have seen of this concept in the past was done with the light from a slide projector. Great shot :) = 9 - setzler |

16 or 6 Crayonsby SwashbucklerComment: It took me a while to figure this one out.. lol... I can finally see the crayons that are printed and the six that are real... real: jungle green, egg blue, radical red, green/yellow, white, orchid ? excellent illusion... now.. the lightin could have really punched harder on this photo... do you have white balance settings? After creating such a great illusion, I would have spent some time working on the lighting to whiten up the background and make these color jump hard :) - setzler |

Peaceby paulobroComment: I looked for quite a while here and can't determine what the illusion is... If the title is supporting the photo by indicating that peace is only an illusion, i would be disappointed. The object of the game is to use your photograph to meet the challenge. As I look at this photo even deeper, it seems a bit strange... maybe post processing artifacts? - setzler |
