Memory Stickby jenaromComment: I really like the concept on this photo... The yellow on yellow works very well, and I also like the strong diagonal in this image. The only problem *I* see in this image is the white balance. Most wouldn't notice this, but that memory stick has taken on a yellow tint from its normal light blue color. Regardless of that, I still think this is an excellent shot... good work :) - setzler |

Circuit Jumbleby kanid99Comment: In the 'technology' challenge, I expected to see a lot of photos of circuit boards. Knowing this, I believe that these photos need to be done more creatively in an attempt to make them stand out. How could you have made this photograph more impactive? If you are new to the challenge concept, one thing you may consider is ASSUMING that there will be several other photos like yours each week. In many cases, there are! With this in mind, you need to create impact.... - setzler |

A High Tech Game of Memoryby Brenna KimiComment: This image is suffering from extreme quality issues.... I believe the focus is probably off from the beginning, but there appears to be pixellation due to resizing upwards and possibly over sharpening as well... - setzler |

X-Ray of an RF Connectorby MorganComment: I'm glad you said what this is in the title... I would have had no idea otherwise... i am supportive of the idea that photos for challenges need to stand alone without a title. They need to convey your message to the viewer, and the title should just be supplemental or enhance the photo in some way. The title is required for this photo to be understood... - setzler |

Technology Just Makes It Easierby SeekerComment: The lighting on this shot is just a bit harsh maybe... The shadows are very strong and the hightlights are blown out in certain areas of the image... - setzler |

Movie Progressby HendrikComment: Interesting composition here... I like your subject progression from old to new :) I think you are onto something here with the backlighting. I'm not sure of a better way to expose this image as is, but somethign seems a bit strange about it. I believe that there may not be quite enough 'top' light to make the exposure really pop here... - setzler |

dpc on DPCby athenaComment: IMO, computer screens are not really worthy subjects for any challenge. If you wanted to work with a computer and/or monitor, I think you could have created a better photo :) - setzler |
