The crumbliest, flakiest milk chocolate in the world...by pinbackComment: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Pinback...
The detail and lighting in this image do a wonderful job of enhancing the 'flavor' in this photo. The closeup view gives me the ability to 'smell' this chocolate and it looks delicious :)
As I mentioned in my earlier comment, I think there could be several different lighting options for this photo and I wonder if you have explored any of those during this shoot?
The only issue I see with this photo is the background... there is a visible crease in the background, but it's very subtle... I think a minor level adjustment would clear that right out without losing much at all...
Keep up the great work :)

Easter Kissesby daysezComment: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Daysez...
This still life composition is nice... Compositionally, there are a few things that I would have explored to see the results... I may have rotated the basked a little to allow the handle to create a stronger sense of three dimension and depth in the image.
A little more depth of field may have makde an improvement here as well. The front edge of the basket seems just a tiny bit soft.
I'm a little concerned about the background material in this shot. I, personally, think it adds too much contrast to the image and makes it a bit busy overall.
Keep up the good work :)

Woodland Friendby magnetic9999Comment: this shot has 'character'... the right side composition makes it very strong and the diagonal adds lots of strength to the composition... great shot :) - setzler |
